We are experiencing difficulties with our phone system, it is a nationwide TELUS issue. They are aware of it and are working to identify the issue. Please keep trying until you get through to the answering machine and leave ONE voicemail.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and following guidelines from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, we have made the following changes in our clinic. These changes take into account the risk of potential virus spread by seeing patients and the ongoing need to provide essential medical care. The goal is to reduce visits and procedures that could reasonably be done at the future time.
We will not be seeing scheduled new consults for the time being. These will be scheduled as phone consults instead
We are doing follow ups by phone instead of in-person
We are also screening patients to make sure that no one comes into our clinic who is required to be on self isolation and patients will be required to sign a consent form affirming this.
Those who do have an appointment to come into our clinic should wait in their vehicles and call to check in. We will then let you know when you can come in. This is to avoid people in the waiting room.
